Our Cause

1. KNH social worker investigates the socio-economic background of patients in the ward to see if they qualify for financial assistance to purchase the orthopaedic aides.
2. KNH social workers recommends cases of patients to be considered for the purchase of aides
3. KNH orthopaedic doctor confirms the case by validating patient injury.
4. KNH orthopaedic technician recommends the type of aide required, dependant on patient injury.
5. Cases are presented to KNH League of Friends board for deliberation.
6. KNH- League of Friends board members vote on the cases presented
7. Upon approval, KNH League of friends Treasurer issues a cheque to the hospital for purchase of aides for all approved cases.
